Shawn and Jerry Crowl teach concealed pistol license classes and defensive firearms training with the same goal each time, which is to send students home able to handle a pistol safely and to understand what Michigan law asks of them. Classes run with more than one instructor in the classroom and on the firing line. That means you wait less for coaching, you get corrected while the habit is still forming, and there is a second set of eyes watching the line while you shoot. Owners and USCCA certified instructors Both are USCCA certified instructors for Basic Pistol, Home Defense Fundamentals and Concealed Carry, and both are certified in First Aid, CPR, AED use and oxygen administration. Shawn grew up in a family of hunters and shooters and had his own concealed pistol license at twenty one. Firearms have been part of his life long enough that teaching them was the natural next step. Jerry has spent his working life in the public services. He served as a Naval Aviation Ordnanceman, then thirteen years as a volunteer firefighter with paramedic certification, twelve years in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and fourteen years as a reserve deputy sheriff in the marine division.
